Menzerna Reference Shine Kit A kit recommendation by Terry Freiberg
This kit contains all the products I use to create a "Show Quality Shine" on my Pewter finished sedan. I've designed this kit for vehicles three years old or newer with paint that is in "good" condition.
If you have an older vehicle or a vehicle with neglected or severely oxidized paint, it should be compounded after Step One, before proceeding to Polishing, Step Two. I like Menzerna PO203 used with an Orange Power Pad for this step.
Each of the steps I go through are outlined in this article: Creating Menzerna's Reference Shine.
Step Two - Polish and Glaze.
Maintenance
Use High Gloss Acrylic Shield after washing or anytime to remove dust, fingerprints and smudges and restore a "just detailed" shine.
The Menzerna Reference Shine Kit includes:
Purchased separately is over $350.00 worth of the best car care products on the planet.
Note: Nothing in this kit is particularly difficult but with the number of steps involved, this is not a kit I would recommend for the car care beginner. If you're an enthusiast and been thinking about stepping up to a machine polisher, the products in this kit will allow you to create a spectacular, show-quality shine.
Specifically, I followed the complete Menzerna process (Intensive Polish, Final Polish II, Finishing Touch Glaze & 2 coats of FMJ) using my Porter Cable 7424 and am in amazement right now.
Please note the photo below of my brand new Lexus LS430 after this process was completed and "gasp for air" as I did! Unbelievable is all I can say to your personal care and your team of professionals who offer such invaluable advice. Also, thanks for offering some of the most remarkable, state-of-the-art, car care products available today." Justin K., Las Vegas, NV
"Just wanted to thank you for showing me the correct way to detail a car! I recently bought a black, BMW, X5 and the swirls in the finish made me sick. I had to do something, which led me to your website. Rebecca helped me pick out the polish I needed, Menzerna Intensive Polish, to add to the Reference Shine Kit. Intensive Polish worked awesome! My X5 looks brand new but it's an 03 model. Look for yourself! It was worth every bit of energy and every penny for the kit. Thanks again," Bryon F.
