Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax
offers a great shine and protection that lasts weeks.

Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax is
going to be misunderstood by many users because it is a true wax (actually a
spray polymer sealant) and not a quick detail spray. Most consumers do not
understand the difference between a quick detail spray and a spray wax. A quick
detail spray removes dust, smudges, fingerprints and restores a shine that will
last 12 to 24 hours. Car dealers use quick detail sprays every morning to wipe
down vehicles in the showroom. Spray waxes like Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax also
remove dust, smudges and fingerprints but go much further than a quick shine.
The hydrophobic (water resistant) polymers used in Ultimate Quik Wax create a
deep, wet-looking shine that mimics the look of better paste waxes. These
polymers link together to create a shield that protects the paint and beads
water for weeks.
Does Ultimate Quik Wax replace regular
waxing?
No! If you prefer carnauba waxes, you
should still wax your vehicle every 90 days. If you use a polymer sealant, you
should "wax" your car twice a year. Between these regular details, use Meguiars
Ultimate Quik Wax to restore that deep, wet-look shine which diminishes over
time.
How does Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax
compare to other spray waxes?
The wizards at Meguiars have done their
homework with Ultimate Quik Wax to put it in a class with the best spray
sealants. In particular, the features I like are:
- Very easy spray-and-wipe application.
- Buffs haze and streak-free.
- Can be applied in direct sunlight.
- Does not white-stain trim moldings.
- Lasts two weeks or longer.
- Excellent water beading.
Bottom line, if you've been using a
quick detail spray, I would highly recommend you try this product. I feel that
once you use it, you will never go back to a quick detail spray.
