Meguiar's Professional Detailing Clay - Mild
  Keep your car's finish
smooth-as-glass!
Your new car is bombarded
daily with a variety of airborne contaminants including overspray, bug residues,
pollution, highway brake dust particles and tree sap mist. If not quickly
removed, these contaminants will bond to your car's paint, producing a rough,
gritty finish that can ultimately lead to rust spots.
Try this simple test:
| Place
your hand inside a plastic bag and lightly run your fingertips over your
car's paint. The finish should be mirror smooth. If your car's paint has a
rough, gritty or pebble-like texture, you're a victim of paint
contamination.
The easiest way to
restore a smooth-as-glass finish to your new car is to "clay"
the surface with Meguiar's Detailing Clay. Specially formulated for
new, clear coat finishes, Detailing Clay "pulls" contamination
off the surface without abrasion or scratching. |

is easy: |
Detailing Clay does require a clay lubricant or quick detail
spray for proper application. This clay works well with BLACKFIRE Clay
Lubricant, Meguiar's No. 34 Final Inspection and Eagle One Wet Wipe N'Shine.
Work on areas of about
two square feet, out of direct sunlight. Mist the area to be clayed with a
lubricant. Press one of the clay bars into a hamburg patty shape and,
using a firm pressure, rub it over the surface in a back-and-forth motion.
The bar will grab at first then move easier with repeated passes. When the

you're done. Wipe off remaining residues with a Microfiber or Terry cloth
and proceed to the next two square foot area.
After claying, finish
with a coat of your favorite wax or paint sealant.

Overspray Clay contains one 200 gram (7 oz.) clay bar.
This bar will clay 4 to 7 cars. During application, refold the bar to keep a
clean area on the car's paint. Upon completion, mist the bar with
lubricant and store in a zip-lock plastic bag. Discard bars that have
become completely soiled and never use a bar dropped on the ground.
Note: Clay
bars will not remove orange peel, swirls or scratches. |
