Black Wow Trim Restorer lives
up to it's claims!
Product review by Terry Freiberg
I wish I had a Nickel for every time a
manufacturer told me their trim dressing/restorer lasts a month or more. They
just don't! I speak from experience. I own most of them. I happen to have two
vehicles with extensive black trim, a Mini Cooper and a Jeep. I've had these
vehicles in two extreme climates; Florida with twice-daily monsoon rains and
Arizona with oven-hot heat. I wash both vehicles every weekend and treat the
black trim with one of a dozen different dressings I have in my detailing
cabinet. Regardless of what I use, by mid-week, the black trim on my vehicles
looks like crap.
I'm here to tell you I finally found a
product that really lasts. Black Wow Trim Restorer has me walking on
sunshine! This trim restorer works on any color trim to restore a deep, natural,
factory-fresh appearance that really does last for months! The Arizona sun
doesn't bleach it out and Florida's daily rains won't wash it off. If you own a
Mini Cooper, Honda Element, Jeep or SUV with extensive trim or accent moldings,
get this product.
Black Wow Trim Restorer is not a dye.
It is a super concentrated, wipe-on liquid that restores faded and white-stained
trim on contact. There is no need to let the product dry or cure.

Restore dull, weathered

Perfect for truck
bumbers. |
Note: The phrase "super-concentrated" really does apply to this product.
It takes less than a pea-sized amount on the foam applicator to work magic.
The 4 oz. bottle will last a long time even treating multiple cars. |

Nit Picks: This isn't so much a nit-pick
as a caution, You should avoid getting Black Wow on paint. It won't harm the
paint, but it's difficult to remove off the paint.
My recommendation is to mask off the trim with
painter's tape before applying Black Wow. |

|
Directions: Wipe trim with a 50/50 solution of
alcohol and water or a prep cleaner such as Wurth Clean Solve. Apply a drop
of Black Wow to the foam applicator and massage into the trim. After all
trim is treated, wipe with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove any excess
product. Detailing trick: Now go back and wipe the trim with a damp
cloth or sponge. This will insure a uniform, rich luster.
